A person who I admire

When we were kids we all said that we want to be like someone when we grow up, I always said that I want to be like my father, he is a person who I really love and I admire him a lot.

We are a family of 5 integrants, my mom, my dad, and 2 brothers. We all like to spend time together having fun. But my father is a person who I admire because since I was born he was so close to me, he also did it with my brothers. But that is some of the things I admire about him because he never get tired of give love and being special with us. He always played with me when I was a kid. He educated me since I was a kid so my personality is like the same as him because he make me think the way he would does.

He also is my friend but at the same time is my father. I can bug with him also we talk about things that are good for me, and things that can be bad for me. He has an important role in my life, in school he helps me all the time he can, when I was about to enter in 1^st course she call me and we talk for a lot of time that this 5 years that I had left at school was like the more important ones because I start being an adolescent. When I need some help or something he always is there to listen to me and give me advices, I think that, that is the way a father can handle a good relationship with her sons, but this is not only with me he does with the three of us me and my other 2 brothers.

There are also some things that get him mad, but that was just some things that with the time I learned that he don’t like me to do that things and I just stop doing the things that I know that get him mad, my father has 41 years and he give a lot of things to me, well to de three of us. He give us all we wanted to have for example last year my brother want to have its own car, and my father took some time to think if it was the right decision, but when he knows that my brother really need the car because he was about 1 year to start the college he prefer to give the car before he gets into the college, and he gives him the car. Some months later from these my father ask to me if I also want to have my own car, and I said yes. Like one month later from this he buy my car. And he told me that he is giving me the car because he knows that I was responsible and also because I was doing great at school, when he told me this I like that moment because it shows you that all the job you are doing is good and you parents are proud of you because of your effort. Also you feel good with your own because having a car is a big responsibility and if your father give it to you, is because he know you are being responsible, and you know its true because he is the person who knows you more, and know you are going to be a good person in the future because he teach you, and the fathers always want his kids to be like him.

Now that I am about 1 year to graduate from high school, I always listen my father because he is bigger person than me and he knows what thing can help me, he also know which career I will like to study because he knows what type of things I like, and in what things I am good.

When I was a kid I think that parents were there just for taking care of us, but this is not the way I think. Parents are there to give support, to give education, to give help when some of his kids need it, but the most important thing a father can do is to give love to his sons. When my father and I talk about my future he always give me the best advices he can, and I always like to use them. I rude motorcycles that was a thing that my fathers does when he was a kid, so he always sais ‘I want to see my sons in motorcycles like the way I do it when I was a kid’ since that day he accomplished this, and now he see me in my motorcycle winning races and getting up the name on Guatemala, at a centroamerican level. He always said me that I do it great in races, but he use to tell me that the place I finish it doesn’t matter, it matters that I was having fun in thing I like to do. He always said me ‘I´m proud of you’ this really gets me happy because he told me that sincerely. I think that a good father is the best thing a kid can have.

My father is one of the persons of more importance in my life; because he shows me values and things that no one else can show me. I really love my dad.

CHILDHOOD EVENT

When we were kids we want to have all things we saw, also the things that our brother or our friends had. We think all was easy to have but no our parents give us with all his effort to see us happy and, they like to see us playing in the garden with our new things. I have a lot of moments that I completely remember when I was a kid, but I choose to talk about this one because I like to remember this.

When I was a kid more or less when I was 4 years old I start riding motorcycle, but the problem was that I did not have a motorcycle so I use the one of my older brother. Most of the time he did not want to lend me his motorcycle so we start fighting and always at the end I use his motorcycle I was happy about that.

But one day when I was like 6 years old like all kids of this age we want to have all things, I want to have my own motorcycle, but my  parents tell me that I will get my 1^st motorcycle until I have 10 years old.  But also they tell my brother that they did not want me to use his motorcycle, but days later  I ask my brother to lend me his motorcycle and he always said no, so I get mad and went with my fathers to tells them that my brother did not lend me the motorcycle, and they say me that they cannot do anything because was his motorcycle and that was decision of my brother if he want to lend me or he did not want. This was more or less in November of 2000, so I pass like 2 months with the same story but sometimes I use the motorcycle without the permission of my parents or my brother, and for Christmas of the 2000 year I get my 1^st and own motorcycle.

 I remember that this Christmas we were in my grandparents house we were waiting for the 12 o’clock and at 12 o’clock Santa Claus was going inside the house from the  front door of the house, I saw him pushing a blue and new motorcycle, when I saw the new motorcycle I run to get up to the motorcycle, and when Santa finish to give all the gifts to all my cousins and brothers me and my brother and my cousin we went out to the garden to use my motorcycle and we use it about like three hours and I was happy about my new toy that I was having for Christmas.

Since that day I like a lot motorcycles, like 2 years later from this event my father gives to me and my brother y we want to start riding in official races and we said yes because we really like motorcycles, and now a days I have been winning the championships in different categories and different years, I train every Saturday in my own track I really train hard for be best in the sports I want to succeed and sometimes I go to a track named motopark, located at the end of San Jose Pinula in Guatemala, I have 10 races each year. Since 2008 I have been winning the championship in 1^st place which I like because there I can see that all the time I expend training and fixing my motorcycles, because I also like mechanics so I like to fix my own motorcycle, it really giving me some awards and making my name to see it in the news and I like that, I will tell you a little bit about how I am doing this year , this year I race 6 races in which I really train hard some weeks before every race and in the race I always give my best, in five of the six races I was classificates  in the three first places and in one of the six races I was having trouble with my motorcycle so I left the race and I didn’t finish this race. I really like this sport I think it is one of the best sports!.

I really remember a lot of how emocionated I was because I was having my own motorcycle and since that day I start training to be the person who I’m now. I invites you to try this sport and I can be sure that you probably would buy a motorcycle and start riding. I like to ride and also I get happy when I listen to my name that they are calling to get up in the podium.

THE WEATHER

Today I choose to talk about the weather in Guatemala. In Guatemala we have some days of extremely hot in the country but they are also some days of cold weather, also cloudy days, some rainy days and all of these changes of weather is because in Guatemala we have four stages, that’s why Guatemala is called ‘The country of eternal spring’.

This can be made because of the trees and all the plants that give fresh air to the country, but these changes of weather can also depend on which place you are, it varies because of the high, or on how close to the beach you are. If you are like in a mountain that is high you may feel cold because of the high, so the weather in this mountain it will always be colder than if you are in the city of Guatemala. If you are closer to the coasts of Guatemala you can feel the air like hot and of course it would be hotter over there. But this depends in which department of Guatemala you are.

This climate helps a lot of people who works in the agriculture. Because in Guatemala the climate is perfect to harvest, the people who practice this knows a lot about the weather because they know the time in which they can start harvesting and they are sure they are not wasting his time, they know that everything they plant it would grows completely. But in 2010 year the agricultures start harvesting and all was going great but in Guatemala stop raining and the people didn´t have water to give to the plants so all of his plants starts dying and they loose of his work and the plantation were going up on the prices. They lost all his fruits and vegetables there were harvesting because of this thing that was happening in Guatemala.

Also some people who harvest lost part of his plantation because the people in Guatemala it is not well educated and they use to steal things. For example the corn, this is one of the main things they stole because it is easier to catch. I can said this because I like to go ride motorcycles with my uncle and cousins and we can see that this happens a lot in the mountains because the people didn´t take care of his plantation. They leave his plantation, and there is no persons seeing or taking care about all of his own things.

In my opinion if I had to chose between living in a place of hot weather or a place of cold weather. I will always choose to live in a place in which the weather is like cold but not so cold. Because I prefer to be there walking on the streets only with a sweater than being there walking with a los of hot and you feel all sweaty and kind of sticky because of the sweaty. So in my opinion Guatemala is a place in which I like to live but the only thing I don´t like is those days that are extremely hot at school andyou start getting sweaty, those days I really don’t like. And the cold weather we feel when we are in the last months of the year for example, on November or December those two months are so cool because you can be outside only with a jacket and you feel well without getting sweaty and the climate we are surround on those months is good.

Also in Guatemala for the last three years the contamination starts growing a lot, so some of this hot days I mention before are because of this problem of the contamination because the ozone layer gets so dirty that it catch the oxygen and we feel like kind of locked with the hot in those days. Also the contamination of a country it could bring you some problems when you are breathing, or this may also affects you lungs.

As  a conclusion I can said that is better to live in a place that is kind of free of contamination and that is cold but not so cold, and also some days of hot weather would be perfect. So I´m happy about living in Guatemala, the only thing I would really like to change is the contamination in this country.
